I ‘m dying to make comfy fall clothing, and seeing everyone’s autumnal makes is NOT HELPING PEOPLE. I’ll have to settle for night-time knitting for the next week or so while I finish up the pattern. In the meantime, some beauties.

A rad, mod striped moto jacket from Sleek Silhouette.

Drop-waisted denim goodness from my lady love Nettie.

Speaking of Nettie, this here is a pretty awesome colourblocked Nettie/Lady Skater mashup from Hanne Vandersteen.

A cocktail ready blue floral sheath from The Girl Who Makes Things.

Everything Kirsty makes is Top Notch, including this gorgeous neon tweed number.

When I saw Jennifer’s outfit on Instagram I was all “GIMME” and she was all “FREE PATTERN COMING SOON”.

Cynthia Rowley, the only designer who makes me want to buy Big 4. Two awesome versions of her two piece pattern for Simplicity by  Dixie DIY and Rachel.

Do you read The Cutting Class? I love how they break down runway design details. The Alexander Wang SS15 collection was pretty innovative.

Loving, loving, loving Corinne’s The Sewing Affair podcast. Really interesting interviews with Sunni at A Fashionable Stitch, Lauren Dahl, Heather B. and Seamstress Erin; in case you’re wondering, they are all awesome humans.

It’s tights weather! Modcloth has the best ones; I love these seamed polka dot ones. And these faux thigh highs. And these cozy real thigh highs (perfect with a sweater dress). There are also some pretty cute dresses on sale, too.

One of my favourite pasta recipes ever? From a sewing blogger! I made Reana’s lamb ragu for the fifth time or so this week and ate it at almost every meal for the last 3 days. Such a cool twist on a traditional sauce (I use ground lamb instead of whole).

Congrats to Nilla for winning the Plowline sweater pattern! I’m emailing it to you…. now.
