After the craziness of the last few months getting ready to launch the new pattern, I’ve been trying to take it a little easy lately. I immediately wanted to start up 15 new projects this week but forced myself to chill the hell out instead. I finished each night at 5pm for a change, and have spent most evenings devoted to sewing the capsule summer wardrobe of my dreams. I have a few weeks of vacation planned this summer and am trying to be very thoughtful and smart about what I want to wear. It feels very luxurious to give myself the time and space to sew for myself again and I’ve realized how important it is for me to reconnect with my love of sewing whenever possible… Basically the Summer SewJo is on fire!
