THIS WEEK IN SEWING BLOGS // VOL. 70

This week in sewing blogs volume 70 // Closet Case Files

Happy Sunday makers! My apologies for missing this post last week; I was teaching a Ginger Jeans workshop all weekend at the awesome Workroom in Toronto and didn’t have a chance for our weekly wrap-up, so expect extra sewing goodness today.

ADMIRE

Did you catch Carolyn’s tutorial on converting the Nettie pattern into a tie front cardigan?

Madly in love with this striped Morris blazer from Girls in the Garden.

A beautiful Kate tank in liberty print over on Tessuti. I’m also smitten with this Kate tank from Boo Dogg and Me.

Moksha’s giraffe print trench coat is fabulous.

I want to make a Wren dress; I love Lauren’s version.

Morgan made a pile of beautiful things; love that blue bikini!

Kelly’s Pendleton bag is AMAZING. I have some scraps of Pendleton wool and I’m totally copying.

How beautiful is this Georgia dress from This Blog is Not for You?

A lovely Alice top from Ms. Wabi Sabi.

The proportion of this skirt from Sew Busy Lizzy is divine.

A Colorful Canvas blew my mind this week with her yoga Ginger jeans.

NEWS

Did you hear about the new fabric store from Ginger Makes? I bought a beautiful yellow cotton/tencil satin from Hell Gate Fabrics; she has some gorgeous hard to find eco fabrics!

A wonderful wrap-up of our Camp Workroom Social experience over on Rake and Make.

I LOVED this video about a Nashville designer’s process for making gorgeous custom leather jackets. Basically #sewingerotica.
