CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE: BOOKS FOR SEWING NERDS

Yesterday I shared some of my top gift picks for the sewing enthusiast in your life (or in your soul). The following are books I have read and loved, or am pining for and would love to find under the tree. Books never stop giving.

Christmas Gifts for sewers and crafters-3 copy

  • I just watched Ari’s documentary on Netflix. Truly amazing and inspiring women. I want to be just like them when I grow up.

Those are some really great suggestions. I also recommend the “Little Black Dress” book that just came out. It includes a number of classic vintage-style patterns.

  • Cashmerette

For anyone interested in the Burda Wardrobe Essentials book, I’m doing a giveaway of it on my blog! The giveaway ends Dec 10 at 11.59 EST 🙂

  • Mindy Nickel

Great list! Most of these are actually on my current wishlist 🙂

  • Well I think my Christmas list just got even longer!

  • EmiliePelchat

Great suggestions! I would probably add the “Sewtionary” and “Fabric for Fashion, The Swatch Book” (they’re both on my list anyway) 🙂

  • Tilly’s book is on my list – so many bloggers have made such great things from it that it has to be mine! Same with all of her patterns. I’ll be checking out the Diana Vreeland one, too. She’s all kinds of amazing.
